Comic-Con does that. In fact I have told several people now that returning from the 4.5 day geek-comic-media-fiesta is somewhat akin to re-entering the Earth's atmosphere after a venture to another planet. After lugging myself and the multitude of goodies I obtained across the entire nation (bear in mind I already brought 2 additional carry-ons in preparation and STILL had to buy ANOTHER suitcase at the hotel to check on the way back), I need some serious time to recuperate, leap back into my work, and remember what it feels like again to have personal space.
I have tales to tell and photos to share of course. So please allow this my intro post of a series of SDCC articles to come - some of the sights and celebs of Comic-Con 2009. Enjoy and check back again soon!
